In Nevada when a homeowner claims that their Community Manager has acted improperly or violated the law a homeowner can file a Statement of Fact with the Ombudsman’s Office Investigations Section. If you are lucky this State Agency will “investigate” your complaint in about a year and then will usually “toss it” as being “unsubstantiated” or for a “lack of documentation” while the Manager known as a CAM is stealing from you and your association! I wonder if Deborah Genato a CAM, the latest to be convicted had a Statement of Fact filed against her with the State? If so why did the State NOT stop her? It takes this Agency like many others agencies too long to spring into action to stop corruption. It took the FBI & the Justice Dept. to put a stop to Ms. Genato’s “activities”. Maybe the Feds should take over the Ombudsman’s Office! The Justice Dept release states that Attorneys were used to help in the Voting fraud to rig HOA elections. Hopefully these attorneys’ names will be released soon. Will the Feds dig DEEPER in to all the other frauds going on in the HOA Industry in Nevada & the US? |
